Standish is a township in Lancashire, in the North West of England. With a population of around 17,000, it is a thriving township with a long and colourful history.

The Standish Wiki follows on from our previous websites, The Standish Homepage and Standish History, which were launched in January 2000 and June 2002 respectively. Since then have had over 200,000 visits each year. We hope that our new family of Standish sites will continue where these left off.
